AF Translator - manual

Translator translates sentences from 34 available languages:
English, Arabic, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Filipino, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Serbian, Slowak, Slovenian, Swedish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese

HOW TO START with AF Translator?

Click right mouse button on your AF Translator in inventory window. From opened menu choose wear. HUD will appear on top left side of your screen.
Start with pressing ON/OFF button, to turns on and off your translator. You don't have to use it, while you're between people speaking your national language, but as soon as you feel it's necessary, you can turn it on with one, single click. Fast and easy.
After you wear your translator first time you should set a pair of languages to translate. MY LANG - it is language you use, FOREIGN LANG - language you prefer to translate to. Then you can set other options using HUD's buttons.

HUD's buttons

MY LANG – allow you to choose your national language from list of 34. Everything is placed in clear and simple menu window. Choose narrows to browse trough languages to find yours.

FOREIGN LANG - allow you to choose foreign language used by others avatars taking part in conversation

OTHERS – allow you to turn on or off translations becoming from other avatars and objects
A (Auto Lang) - when this option is set, language of interlocutors is detected automaticaly, otherwise "foreign" language is used

ONLY AVATARS - with OTHERS option turn on, translates sentences becoming only from other avarats. In this mode talking objects are not translating.

ONLY CHOOSEN - with OTHERS option turn on, translates only people from the list. List management comands like Add, Clear, Show List available from menu after clicking this button.

MENU with options: Reset - reset translator, Help - gives notecard with manual instruction, Update - check if new versions are available

TRANS. ME - if this option is set, translator translates owner's sentences and displays them on local chat

Chat channels and IMs translation

Channels 1 and 2 can be used to translate sentences for you personal use. Sentences are not visible on local chat. Translations comes as text visible only to you. 
*Channel 1 – channel is used to translate sentences from your language (MY LANG) to foreign language.

Example:
translator is in translation mode: from Polish to English, in main window of chat we type:

/1 to jest bardzo fajny translator

In personal message we receive translation:

"AF Translator: This is very cool translator"

*Channel 2 – channel is used to translate sentences from foreign language to your language (MY LANG).

Functionaliy of these 2 channels can be use for translate IMs. For example:

When you recive IM in foreign language you can translate it on your own needs. Copy your message from IM window (using Ctrl+C), type in chat window: /2 and paste your unclear sentence (using Ctrl+V). After pressing enter the sentence will be translated and you'll recive translation. Simple type /1 your answer on local chat and you'll recive translation which you can copy with Ctrl+C and paste to IM window using Ctrl+V.

WARNING: Automatic detection of language is not allowed in channel 1 and 2 translations. It will be implemented in future versions.

Chat commands

AF translator can be managed using chat commands said on channel 8.

For change my language use command: /8 ml [language symbol] for example: /8 ml en - sets my language to english
For change foreign language use command: /8 fl [language symbol] for example: /8 ml en - sets foreign language to english

/8 reset - resets the translator
/8 me on|off - turns translate me option on or off - example: /8 me off
/8 others on|off - turns translation of others on or off - example: /8 others off
/8 avatars on|off - turns translaotion of avatars only on or off - example: /8 avatars on
/8 chosen on|off - turns translatoion of only selected avatars on or off - example: /8 chosen on
/8 chosen clear - clears list of avatars to translate
/8 chosen show - shows list of avatars to translate
/8 chosen add Avatar Name - adds avatar name to the list - example: /8 chosen add Aligatorek Furse
/8 auto others on|off - turns autodetection of "foreign" language on or off - example: /8 auto others on
/8 auto on|off - turns autodetection of  "foreign" language on or off - example: /8 auto off


For compatibility some comands used in Q-Translator works too.
